Experimental research on the minimum spray flux for cooling of spent fuel rods with low decay heat in PWR

摘要: 福岛事故以后,乏燃料水池的安全性受到越来越多的重视。因此,有必要对喷淋冷却的影响因素开展实验研究。

本文建立了职称论文发表一套乏燃料水池喷淋冷却实验装置,用5×5电加热棒束模拟核电厂乏燃料水池中的一组乏燃料棒,得到不同功率水平下维持包壳温度在300℃的最小喷淋流量。此外,改变喷嘴型号,探究不同喷淋颗粒度对乏燃料水池喷淋冷却效果的影响。实验结果表明,喷淋水颗粒度对于最小喷淋流量有较大影响。

Abstract: Safety of spent fuel pool has been paid much attention since Fukushima nuclear accident. So, it’s necessary to research influencing factors of spray cooling. A set of spray cooling experimental device for spent fuel pool is built. Electrically heated rods 5×5 are used to simulate spent fuel rods of spent fuel pool in Nuclear Power Plant to get different minimum spray flows when temperature of clad is kept in 300℃. Besides, change nozzle types to gain different granularity of spray water to research its influences on spray cooling effects for spent fuel pool. The results show that granularity of spray water has great effect on minimum spray flow.
